To give our visitors a bit of background on the major sportig brands on offer we thought we'd do a showcase giving a bit about each one and some of their key products.

Nike

The biggest sports manufacturer in the world with some major sponsorship deals that would make your eyes water! It was originally founded by a US gentleman by the name of Philip Knight. He was a track athelete at university when he got the idea to act as distribuor for a Japanese manufacturer.

Adidas

Adidas is second only to Nike in its global reach and prestige. Adidas have been around since the early part of the 20th Century and have always excelled in producing high quality sporting equipment. The kind of engineering you'd expect from a German company - Adidas are the Mercedes of sportswear.

Asics

Famous for the quality and innovation in their running trainers. Asics are a Japanese company and just about everyone who's keen on running at least respects if not owns a pair of Asics running shoes.

Speedo

Although most people will associate Speedo with buff men swimming olympic lengths the Speedo brand has been producing womens swimwear for over 20 years. It was first founded in Australia in 1914 and despite a short break to build mosquito nets during thr war they;ve concentrated on their core business of providing the worlds best swimwear.
