It features the most cushioned version of Saucony's impact deflection technology, ProGrid, which runs the full length of the shoe to absorb impact, dissipate shock and provide a seamless transition from heel to forefoot. The Flexion plate encourages the runner quickly get up on their toes while the SRC impact zone and HRC Strobel board increase cushioning, comfort and heel-toe transition. There is also an arch-lock built into the upper which helps provide a snug midfoot fit. The hydrator collar lining gives next to skin comfort and maximises wicking. Like Saucony's other top-end shoes, the Paramount uses the new Comfortride Sockliner, which is antimicrobial and breathable.
