The mesh upper has been upgraded again to improve comfort, moisture management and airflow. The shoe is now lighter than it's ever been, but still offers the raceday medial support which is sufficient for many runners to take them the full marathon race distance. The Fastwitch 4 uses the same midsole and outsole combination as the (220 Shoe of the Year-nominated) Fastwitch 3, but improves the upper with a higher-tech mesh, which is more breathable, and provides improved moisture management properties than it's predecessor. The overlays around the forefoot have also been remodelled, so they provide the same support with less irritation, this is a particular benefit when going sock-free!
